The Internal Revenue Service provides free printable tax forms on the official IRS.gov website. You can find current-year tax forms, tax forms for previous years and locate some of the most-used tax forms.
On the website, locate and click the "Forms & Pubs" tab in the top menu to bring up the next screen. At the top of the new screen, there are three prominent links: "Current Forms and Pubs," "Prior Year Forms and Pubs" and "Accessible Forms pubs Pubs."
The "Prior Year Forms & Pubs" section includes quick access to some of the forms and publications for which the IRS receives the most requests. If you are unable to find the form you seek there, you can find any other current year forms in the "Current Forms & Pubs" section. This section includes a full list of every tax document for the current year. The "Accessible Forms pubs Pubs." is for users who are visually impaired, or are using other assistive technology to access the website.
To print the forms, click on the link next to the tax document that you want to print. When the document opens, choose the print option from your browser to print it. Keep in mind as well, that if you know which kind of document you need, but don't know the number associated with it, you may type key words into the search bar to find it.
