Printing an employee warning form in portable document file (PDF) is just like printing any other PDF document and involves opening the file on Adobe Acrobat Reader and then clicking on the printer icon on the toolbar. PDF files are created using applications such as Adobe Acrobat or similar products. While the Adobe Acrobat application comes at a price, the Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded and used for free, notes TechTarget.com.
PDFs started out as the Adobe company's Project Camelot in the spring of 1991. The main goal of the project was to come up with a tool that could enable companies to capture documents from any application and be able to view and print these captured documents on any machine, states Adobe.com. Adobe developed the PDF format by the fall of 1992 and it has been the standard application to view documents in its original appearance regardless of the application that was used to create it.
