Full Answer

The tax tables on the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department website detail the tax rate by municipality or county. Each municipality has a five-number location code assigned to it. The tables also list tax rates for leased vehicle gross receipts, leased vehicle surcharges, governmental gross receipts, out-of-state research and development, and all other types of out-of-state business. Some of the newer tables provide more detailed information than the older ones.
