Investors can find out historical bond prices with a CUSIP number on Finra.org, notes the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. On the website, select the Tools and Calculators option, and then select FINRA Market Data. In the Quick Search section, enter the CUSIP number and click Search.
FINRA is a nonprofit organization authorized by Congress. This organization writes and enforces rules that govern the securities firms and brokers to protect America's investors. In 2014 it had referred more than 700 securities fraud cases for prosecution and levied about $166.3 million in fines and restitution. FINRA also offers various research tools, such as BrokerCheck, Market Data, Fund Analyzer, Risk Meter and Scam Meter, to investors, according to FINRA.
