Consumers can get a loan from World Finance by first selecting the Start Application tab on the company's official website. They then have to enter their zip code to find the closest World Finance branch location in the local area.
Once the applicant has selected a World Finance branch location they are then asked to provide information about themselves. This includes their address, phone number and email address, as well as the amount of the loan they are requesting. The application is then forwarded to the World Finance branch location, and then an employee follows up with the applicant to obtain additional application information.
World Finance specifically states on its website that information submitted is not an actual credit application, and applicants are contacted within 24 hours of the submission to complete the application. The credit application process does vary based on underwriting policies for specific state laws. Collateral such as personal property may also be required for an application to be approved.
World Finance offers consumers traditional installment loans that can be used to suit a person's individual needs. Loan amounts begin at $300 and average up to $5,000, although some states allow World Finance to grant loans of up to $12,000.
World Finance operates under the World Acceptance Corporation, which was first established in 1962. The company has over 1,000 branch locations throughout 15 states, as well as locations in Mexico, as of March 2015.
