HUD.gov has a search tool to locate FHA-approved condominiums. The property results are not listings that the Federal Housing Administration is selling, notes the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Optional search fields allow users to narrow their search results to a list of condominiums that meet certain criteria.
Users can search for FHA condos by state, county, city, zip code and condominium project name, as shown on the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s website. Before someone can receive a loan from the FHA, a condo must be approved. If an individual desires a loan for a condo that is not on the list, the FHA must approve or recertify the condo project first, according to Zillow.
