View the Featured Forms & Publications list to locate the desired form. The list is separated into two subsets, one for individuals and one for businesses, notes the IRS. If the needed form is not listed, click on the blue button located to the right of the Featured Forms & Publications heading. If searching for current year tax forms, the blue button reads Find All Current Forms & Pubs. If searching for prior year tax forms, the blue button reads Find All Prior Year Forms & Pubs.

Next, locate the desired form by entering the product number, form title or form revision date into the blank box located near the top left of the page. Select the corresponding category from the drop-down menu located next to the box, and click the Find button, instructs the IRS. Find and click the correct form from the search results page.

IRS tax forms are also available by telephone, advises the IRS. As of 2015, the number to call is 800-829-3676.
