A customer must select a contact platform, such as Online or Mobile App, as shown on TurboTax. If a customer selects Online, a new box pops up that asks to which edition of TurboTax the question refers. Next, the customer types his question and presses Continue. A list of links that possibly answer the question appears.
If none of the links are what a customer is looking for, he can press Chat. TurboTax gives approximate wait times. The company replies to more than 1,500 unique questions daily.
