A person that has recently been denied credit from a lender is eligible to receive a free credit report from the credit bureau that provided the report that was used for the denial. To do this, the consumer needs to send the denial letter to the credit bureau by mail along with a request for the relevant credit report or follow online instructions to view the report on the company's website.
