Where Can You Find the Annual Enrollment for Health Benefits Through the Xerox Pension Plan?

Health benefit coverage for Xerox retirees is administered by Empire BlueCross BlueShield, according to the Association of Retired Xerox Employees. The pension plan has three different health care coverage plans based on when retirement took place. Retirees may enroll through Empire BlueCross BlueShield or Medicare.

Health care benefits through Xerox are offered using old, new and flex plans, reports the Association of Retired Xerox Employees. Retirees with questions about Xerox benefits may contact the Xerox Employee Service Center at 1-800-428-2203. Members enroll in the plan through Empire BlueCross BlueShield, and assistance with health plan premiums is only available to members who retired before Jan. 1, 2003. Retirees who opted out of Xerox health benefits may be eligible to return to the health plan the next year. Eligible retirees may be mailed open enrollment information allowing them to enroll again.

Some retirees may be required to transition into Medicare when they reach age 65, explains the Association of Retired Xerox Employees. These retirees may use Medicare exclusively or receive health services through Empire that are not fully covered by Medicare. Eligibility of health benefits for spouses and dependents is also available to some retirees and depends on the date of retirement.
