A way to activate the card without visiting the bank is online by using either online banking where the user can access the customer service department to activate their card, or by using her bank's mobile banking and activating the card via phone.
For those that do not have online or mobile banking, there are several other methods of card activation. The first is to make a deposit or withdrawal to the account to be activated. This can be done either at the bank or at one of the bank’s ATMs. If the account has not already been funded, or the user does not wish to make a deposit, she can also visit the bank and ask a banker to activate the card.
