The $729,750 cap also applies in Napa, Orange, San Benito, San Francisco and San Mateo Counties, as well as in Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Ventura Counties. The Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac home loan limit maximum of $625,000 applies to most of the counties with the FHA home loan top limit, excluding Monterey, Napa, San Benito and Ventura Counties. The Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac home loan limits are at their lowest at $417,000, applicable in 15 California counties.
