Vermeer's focus on producing cutting-edge hay baler technology provides a considerable advantage over more conservative competitors. Additionally, their AgVantage warranty program provides broad coverage on their products without restrictions on days of usage or number of bales produced.
Despite the fact that Vermeer produces a broad range of farm implements, the agricultural community most closely associates the company with round balers. The company's innovative approach to designing and producing equipment has most recently led to the development of its CRB, or Continuous Round Baler, technology. Once released, this technology has potential to drastically increase the productivity of farmers. With current balers, farmers must stop periodically to allow the baler to complete and eject a bale. However, using CRB technology, farmers would be able to move continuously without pause.
Vermeer currently produces a line of five round balers to accommodate a number of budgets and purposes. For example, the Rancher 6650 is designed to produce big bales that can be efficiently moved, stored and fed to cattle. This model befits efficiency and value conscious operations. Alternatively, while the 404 Pro Silage does not have the same bale size capacity as the Rancher 6650, it does feature a bevy of technologically advanced features including XtraCut17 crop cutter system that improves bale density and HYDROFLEX Control which allows the baler to perform well over uneven surfaces.
