Health care, retirement, education, illness and accidental death or dismemberment benefits are all available to Nestle USA employees as of 2015, as well as work/life benefits and educational benefits. The NesCARE benefits program allows employees to customize their benefits to meet their individual needs.
Nestle offers coverage for alternative medicine in addition to its traditional medical benefits, which include preventive care and prescription coverage. Weight loss and tobacco cessation are two of the free lifestyle improvement programs offered by HealthWorks, a company program provided at no charge to employees.
A 401(k) plan and Pension Plan are both available to employees. The 401(k) plan offers a 100 percent employer match for the first 3 percent an employee contributes from each check. Employees can contribute an additional 2 percent to receive a 50-percent matching contribution from the company. Employer matches are fully vested after the employee turns 65 or after three years of employment, whichever occurs first.
Scholarship programs are available through the Nestle Scholarship Foundation. For children of employees, a strong academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in both school and community activities are some of the selection criteria for Nestle scholarships.
