As of 2015, Exxon's consumer credit card is the ExxonMobil Smart Card, according to Exxon Mobil Corporation. This card provides rebates on purchases made at Exxon and Mobil gas stations.
ExxonMobil Smart Card users receive a rebate on their gas purchases of 6 cents per gallon on Exxon and Mobil fuel, explains Exxon Mobil Corporation. This is based on a requirement in which an individual purchases a minimum of 45 gallons of gas per month and is available on a maximum of 100 gallons of purchases per month, or $72 per year. As a promotional rebate, on new accounts opened before the end of June 2015, card users receive a special rate of 24 cents per gallon.
The card is issued by Citibank and provides several other benefits, notes Citigroup. This includes no liability for fraudulent charges made on the credit card, as well as online banking access and paperless statements. In addition, standard credit card features are available, including a grace period of 25 days after the end of each billing cycle, during which no interest is charged. Interest is charged at an APR of 24.99 percent thereafter and 29.95 percent in the case of cash advances in addition to a transaction fee. The card carries no annual fee.
