MyChart is a free, personalized online service available to active Dreyer Clinic patients, who can securely access portions of their electronic medical records. The service helps patients better manage their healthcare information and save time. With proxy access, parents and legal guardians can use their personal MyChart accounts to access health records of children aged below 12. Adult patients can also choose another person to manage their accounts. However, the patient can revoke this privilege at any time.
To sign up for MyChart, request an activation code at the clinic. Use the activation code to create a personal user ID and password. A physician reviews test results before releasing them to the patient’s MyChart account. The account does not display tests of a very sensitive nature.
MyChart uses authentication layers to provide secure and controlled access to information. The program stores patients’ login information in an encrypted database that is isolated from the Internet. In addition, MyChart uses 128-bit SSL encryption technology to encrypt communications.Learn more about Customer Service
