Auto Club South offers its members numerous benefits, including free towing, battery and flat-tire service, emergency starting, check cashing, and maps, as of June 2015, states the American Automobile Association. Other benefits include free accident travel insurance and reduced or waived airline and passport photo fees.
Additional benefits include extrication and winching services for disabled vehicles. The towing benefit also applies to vehicles that are inoperable after extrication. The club reimburses members for emergency expenses when they travel by car and have car accidents or breakdowns more than 100 miles away from home. Auto Club South also reimburses members with stolen vehicles in the same situation. If a member's vehicle runs out of fuel, the club delivers enough gas to enable the driver to drive the vehicle to the nearest operating gas station. When fuel is not available, the club applies the towing benefit, according to AAA.
Other benefits include vehicle locksmith service, vehicle theft reward, rental car company rewards membership, personal accident insurance and medical riders, states AAA. Club South offers Classic, Plus and Premier memberships, which have different membership fee levels and provide different benefits. Membership plans are available for motorcycles and recreational vehicles.
Club South serves AAA members and residents of Georgia, Florida, North Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin. The club also serves Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Minnesota, Nebraska and Puerto Rico are also in Club South's coverage area, according to AAA.
