A total of 31 banks, with more than $15 million in assets each, have automated teller machines or physical locations in Las Vegas, including Citibank, Wells Fargo, USAA Savings Bank, Nevada State Bank and Bank of Nevada. These five banks represent the largest in the city based on asset amounts.
Citibank has more than 45 ATM locations throughout Las Vegas, as of March 2015. Many of these locations are in 7-Eleven convenience stores. Other ATMs take cards with MoneyPass symbols on the back. A MoneyPass card does not incur surcharges from ATMs that accept MoneyPass.
Wells Fargo bought Wachovia in 2008 to become the second-largest bank in Las Vegas. This bank has more than 10 locations in the city to go along with dozens of ATMs. USAA Savings Bank specializes in services to members of the U.S. military, particularly to those stationed in and around Nellis Air Force Base. The sole location sits along Howard Hughes Parkway near Sands Avenue.
Nevada State Bank has five branches and more than 15 ATMs throughout Las Vegas. The bank also has dispense-only ATM locations in Walgreen's stores. Branches typically open at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, while they close at 5 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Two branches open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
