Use these steps to find out the balance on a savings account:
Visit the website for the bank where the savings account is held. Look for an click on the "Enroll in online banking" or similar link. This is usually close to the account login form in the upper right or left side of the page. Fill in the required information, such as the debit card or savings account number and Social Security number, notes Bank of America. The bank website will also ask users to create a user name and password for logging in.
