Premiering in May 2013, "La Voz Kids" features three celebrity judges. As of 2015, contestants must be fluent in conversational Spanish and must be able to perform songs in Spanish and English to compete. In addition, they must sing at least one of the audition songs in Spanish.
Audition spaces are limited, according to LaVozKidsCasting.com, so not everyone who registers and applies receives an audition slot. The "La Voz Kids" casting team reviews video submissions to determine which applicants receive invitations to live auditions taking place at various cities.
The casting application can be downloaded from LaVozKidsCasting.com. After a parent or legal guardian has completed, printed and signed it, the form may be submitted along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a clear and recent photo. "La Voz Kids" does not review or consider links, videos, applications or other materials submitted by children. All "La Voz Kids" contestants must live legally in the United States.Learn more about Applying & Interviewing
