To apply for a Citgo credit card, go to the company's webpage, and determine the type of credit card desired. Click on Apply, fill in the requested information, and submit the application, says Citgo. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and also a U.S. resident.
Citgo offers both business and personal credit cards to meet consumer's credit needs. Personal credit cards include the Citgo Rewards Card. Business cards include the Citgo Fleet, Citgo Fleet Select and Citgo Fleet Universal cards, which are geared towards businesses that operate a fleet of vehicles, says Citgo.
After application, consumers are told instantly if they are approved, or they may be notified by U.S. mail within 30 days of the application if they have been approved or not. Applicants can call Citgo for a status update regarding their application. Credit requirements beside age and residency include a good credit history, says Citgo.
The credit limit is determined based upon an applicant's yearly income and his credit report score. This limit is indicated on the credit card welcome kit, as well as on the monthly credit card statements, says Citgo. The Citgo credit card can be used at any Citgo-branded location. Services available on the Citgo website include credit card statement reviews and bill-paying options.
