How Do You Apply for a Career at A&P Supermarkets?

As of 2015, A&P accepts job applications on the Careers section of its website, which is available at Once on the A&P homepage, scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the Careers link underneath the About Us category. On the Why Work For Us? page, navigate to the Careers subsection to search for store positions, pharmacy careers, store management opportunities and corporate jobs.

Each job category on the A&P website contains information specific to that type of job. The Store Positions option allows job applicants to search for jobs by store departments. Clicking on a department opens a new page with a list of all available positions in that department. Jobs are sorted by keyword, position, state and employment category. A link to the online application appears next to each job.

The Store Management and Pharmacy Careers options provide a list of career opportunities specific to those departments. The Corporate option redirects job candidates to the Web page for A&P's corporate headquarters. Candidates can filter jobs by area of interest or location.

All job candidates have to create an user account on the A&P website. A&P requires candidates to fill out a profile and application in order to be considered for a job with the company.
