The answers to employee self-appraisals may never be the same because the questions may be different. The best thing for a person to do is to provide all the information a manager or an employer wants to know.
A person should start by highlighting the positive contributions he has made to the company in the past year. All activities a person has engaged in should also be included. Roles the employee has had in the past also add positivity to the self-evaluation form.
On the negative side, a person should highlight his or her weakness areas that he needs to improve. The evaluation should be an opportunity to neutralize the negative experiences an employee has had while working in a particular company.
