US Airways, in conjunction with Barclays and American Airlines, offers several MasterCard credit cards in the AAdvantage Aviator line that provide customers with air miles for purchases. This program replaces the Dividend Miles program previously used by US Airways, explains the airline's official website.
As of 2015, the AAdvantage Aviator Silver MasterCard offers cardholders triple miles for purchases on eligible American and US Airways ticket purchases and double miles for select car rentals and hotel stays, notes USAirways.com. This card also provides customers with one free checked bag and opportunities to earn discounted companion tickets. Other cards in this line include Red and Blue options that provide double miles on American and US Airways purchases and one point for every dollar spent on the cards.
