First, create an account by clicking Sign In at the top left, opening the Register tab, and providing personal information. If using a non-UK phone number, make sure to select the international dialing code of your country from the drop down-list. For the United States, the dialing code is +1. Do not put any zeros prior to the dialing code.
Once your account is ready, log into your account and verify it by entering the PIN code sent to your phone. Follow the instructions to set up payment information. eBay automatically charges the account you specify for seller fees and return reimbursements.
With your account set up, click Sell at the top of the page to create a listing. Add the details of the product, specify its category and state whether or not you want to sell it in an auction. You can also purchase upgrades for your listing to increase its visibility. Some of the upgrade options are: adding more and larger pictures, listing in two categories and using the Listing Designer to add visual decorations.
eBay suggests using stock photos from its catalogue, describing the products in detail and offering PayPal as a payment method to increase the effectiveness of your listing. You should also state your returns policy clearly, respond to customer inquiries in a swift manner and keep your contact information up to date.Learn more about Advertising
