CAA offers benefits to its members that include trip accident assistance. As of 2016, a member is part of a collision that is more than a set distance from his residence and his car cannot be driven for up to 72 hours after he reports the collision, CAA reimburses the member for costs up to $300 or $500, depending on the driver's membership level. The member can use these funds to pay for meals and hotel accommodations, a rental car, or transportation back to his home.

If a member is charged with a traffic offense pertaining to the Highway Traffic Act and he needs legal defense, CAA reimburses the member for certain legal fees in accordance with the organization's fee schedule. In the event of an arrest due to a traffic incident, CAA provides bail bond coverage of $5000 for members, reports CAA.

If a member provides information that leads to the arrest of a driver whose vehicle is responsible for a personal injury collision, he is eligible to receive a $500 reward from CAA. Members are also eligible to receive complimentary advisement on motor vehicle licensing, vehicle insurance claims, and road rules and regulations, explains CAA.
