Individuals and businesses have access to all Georgia county websites for geographic information system and on-line parcel data, notes Georgia Assessors. Searches are conducted for tax digest and GIS maps as well as parcel data maps by the owner's name, the property location address, the parcel number, the account number or the legal description. You can also perform a search by sales lists, or you can perform sale searches to research data to obtain sales comparables. The websites include information on the assessment and appraisal process, and you can also download tax-related forms, tax appeals and tax exemption information.
