To wrap your hair, make a center part, wrap the left half of the hair behind the head and around to the forehead, clip it in place, then wrap the right half in the opposite direction, secure it with a clip, and tie a silk scarf around your head. This 10-minute procedure requires a comb, hair clips, bobby pins and a silk scarf.
- Comb and part your hair
Comb your hair straight back, and part it in the center.
- Wrap the left half
Grasp the left half of your hair, and wrap it around the back of your head, keeping the section flat. Bring the ends over your right ear, and clip them in place.
- Wrap the right half
Wrap the right half of your hair around the back of your head, keeping it as flat as possible. Guide the ends over your left ear. Clip the section in place. For extra security, place one or two bobby pins at the nape of your neck.
- Cover your hair with a silk scarf
Cover your hair with a silk scarf, and tie it at the nape of your neck. Adjust the front of the scarf so it covers your hairline, and secure it with bobby pins.
