The winner of the 2014 Miss USA pageant was Nia Sanchez from Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the first Nevada representative to win the Miss USA pageant.
The 2014 Miss USA pageant had 51 contestants and was held in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. Contestants were judged in the three separate categories of swimsuits, interview skills and evening gowns.
Nia Sanchez was born and raised in Menifee, California. She is part Mexican and German, enjoys traveling and holds a fourth-degree black belt in Taekwondo. Nia moved to New York City after winning the pageant and has traveled to Mexico, Germany and Abu Dhabi. She took placed as the first runner-up in the 63rd Miss Universe pageant as a representative of the United States.
