To whiten your nails, remove all nail polish, and buff your nails with a nail file. Use a nail brush to apply whitening toothpaste to the nail surface, and scrub each nail to whiten them. Rinse the toothpaste off your nails to complete the process.
- Remove nail polish, and buff the nails
Use a nail polish remover to strip away all nail polish, including clear nail polish. Buff the nails with a nail file to smooth the nail surface and remove any remaining polish.
- Apply whitening toothpaste to the nails
Squeeze a small amount of whitening toothpaste onto a nail brush or a small toothbrush. Scrub each nail using gentle circular motions. Treating each nail with the whitening toothpaste may be all that is required to whiten the nails, but allowing the toothpaste to dry on the nails for up to 10 minutes enhances the whitening effect.
- Rinse off the toothpaste
Wash your hands with a mild hand soap to remove the toothpaste. If the nails are not as white as you would like them to be, scrub the nails a second time with the whitening toothpaste, and let the toothpaste dry for at least five minutes. Repeat this process as many times as needed to achieve the desired results.
