Carrie Underwood wore a classic gown by Oscar de la Renta for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. The dress featured a tight strapless bodice with a swooping design, a full skirt of pale blue tulle and a sheer pink skirt underneath.
Emma Watson walked the red carpet to the world premiere of "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows" wearing a silver gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. Like Underwood's gown, this dress had a fitted, strapless bodice and also featured wavy silver lines on top of a sheer fabric. The full skirt was ankle-length and had layers of silvery fabric that created tremendous volume.
