The best way to insert 30-inch hair extensions is to make a horizontal part near the nape of the neck, tie the rest of the hair up, and clip an extension to the nape. Make another 1-inch part, attach an extension, and repeat with the rest of the hair. This one-hour procedure requires a styling comb, a mirror, an elastic band and 30-inch clip-on extensions.
- Part the hair
Comb the hair, and use the pick end of the styling comb to make a horizontal part about 1-inch above the nape of the neck. Gather the rest of the hair on top of the head, and secure it with an elastic band.
- Attach the first extension
Comb the hair at the nape, and place an extension at the center of the part. Each extension has three clips. Attach the middle clip first, then fasten the sides.
- Attach another extension
Make a 1-inch horizontal part directly above the first, secure the rest of the hair with the elastic band, and clip another extension along the new part. Attach the rest of the extensions in the same manner.
- Style the hair
Examine the extensions in a mirror, and arrange them with your fingers.
