Victoria Wieck is a fashion jewelry designer located in Beverly Hills, Calif., as of 2014. Her designs appear prominently on home shopping network channels, where she has presented her work for sale since the late 1990s. Known particularly for her intricate and fanciful inlaid jewel designs, Wieck's jewelry line typically includes earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces, watches and bracelets.
Born in South Korea, Wieck came to the United States with her family when she was 12 years old. Educated at the University of California Marshall School of Business, she opened her own jewelry design business, Ravello Beverly Hills, in 1990. Ravello Beverly Hills originally specialized in high-end jewelry designs for cruise ships and duty-free shops. Wieck expanded into the fashion jewelry business in 1998.
Her fanciful designs include 3D animals fashioned from colored gemstones, such as penguin and snake rings, bear pendants and frog earrings. Other exotic designs include a full-color peacock feather rendered in quartz crystals for a bangle bracelet. Wieck works primarily with semiprecious or man-made stones, such as tanzanite, topaz, amethyst, tourmaline and cubic zirconium. The gems are frequently set in sterling silver or rhodium-plated sterling silver. She is known for glamorous, elaborate and imaginative designs created with affordable materials.
