To unclog pores, boil parsley in water, wash and exfoliate the skin, apply a charcoal mask, rinse, wipe the skin with parsley water and apply moisturizer. The supplies you need for this 45-minute process are skin cleanser, an exfoliant, a charcoal mask, cotton balls, parsley, water, tissues and a moisturizer.
- Make a parsley toner
Put a bunch of fresh parsley in a pot of boiling water, cover it, and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. Discard the parsley, and reserve the water.
- Wash and exfoliate the skin
Wash the skin with an oil-free cleanser, and rinse thoroughly. Apply a nickel-sized dollop of exfoliating scrub, and rub it over the skin for one minute. Rinse thoroughly.
- Apply a charcoal mask
Apply a charcoal mask, let it dry, and remove it with warm water.
- Tone the skin with parsley water
Dip several cotton balls in the parsley water, and rub them over the clogged pores. Discard the cotton balls.
- Moisturize the skin
Wash and dry your hands. Rub a dime-sized amount of oil-free moisturizer between your fingertips, and smooth it over the skin. Apply additional moisturizer to dry patches. Wait five minutes, then blot the skin with a tissue to absorb excess product.
