To straighten hair using milk, pour 1/3 cup of milk into a spray bottle. Coconut milk produces the best results, but any type of milk is usable. Additionally, have a wide-toothed comb on hand.
Coconut milk is recommended since its viscosity and creaminess delivers the best results, but milk powder is usable as a hair mask as well. Dampen your hair, and evenly spray the milk on your scalp and every hair strand, including the tips. Untangle your hair using a wide-toothed comb, and keep the hair from curling up or frizzing, as this may result in milk becoming trapped and solidifying. Be sure to comb the hair gently to avoid damaging your hair. Once it becomes solidified, it is a hassle to remove.
Massage the scalp as you allow the milk to thoroughly soak into your hair. Let the milk sit in your hair for about 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing it out. Allow the hair to air dry; your hair straightens as it dries, especially if you have naturally wavy tresses. This method does not work as well for curly hair, but the solution still causes hair to be wavy and more loose than how it normally is.
