To straighten your hair without heat, divide wet hair into sections, and apply a setting agent to your hair. Roll up your hair with magnetic rollers, and let it air dry. Remove the rollers, and cover your hair with a silk scarf to smooth hair and create a straight look.
- Apply a setting agent, and use rollers
Separate wet hair into sections, and apply a setting agent to each section of hair before rolling it up with the magnetic rollers. Pin the rollers to your head with hair clips. Use the largest rollers you can find, as large rollers make the hair straighter.
- Dry your hair
Leave the rollers in your hair, and allow your hair to air dry completely. Air drying may not be enough for very tight curls. Use a hood bonnet set on very low heat to speed up the drying process and enhance the straightening effect. Although hood bonnets use heat, the heat is minimal and indirect.
- Remove the rollers
Once your hair is completely dry, remove the rollers, and style your hair. To provide additional straightening, twist all of your hair together, wrap it around the top of your head, and pin it to your scalp. Cover your hair with a silk scarf to smooth and flatten the hair before styling.
