EbLens carries several sneaker brands, including Nike, Adidas and New Era. The company also carries lifestyle products from Timberland, LRG, Smoke Rise and Soho Babe. EbLens sells the latest in name brand urban clothing and footwear for the entire family.
In the late 1990s, EbLens saw the potential to increase sales by servicing inner city markets that were clamoring for fashion inspired by a more urban lifestyle. In 2004, EbLens opened its first urban lifestyle store in Brockton, Massachusetts. Its prototype was designed as a hip looking store, building on its original clothing and footwear focus, which included brands such as Nike, Timberland, New Era and South Pole. After successfully transitioning as a major player in the modern sneaker business, EbLens became a key destination for street-wear.
As of 2015, EbLens carries urban brands such as RocaWear, Ed Hardy, Blac Label, Sean John, Akademiks, Phat Farm and Enyce. Based in Torrington, Connecticut, EbLens operates 38 stores that offer clothing and footwear from active brands, such as Nike, fused with urban lifestyle brands, such as Timberland.
EbLens was started in 1949 when two friends, Ebner “Eb” Glooskin and Leonard “Len” Seaman, opened a small store called EbLens Workingman Store in New Britain, Connecticut. The key to their success was to offer quality products at great prices and even better customer service. Unlike many other urban clothing stores, EbLens provides a one-stop-shop experience for the whole family, with clothing, footwear and accessories available for customers of all ages.
