A Sicilian wax is a hair removal style that leaves a triangular shape of hair in the bikini area. People often contrast it with other waxing styles, such as the Brazilian, American or French wax.
There are a number of ways to style pubic hair when waxing. While the Sicilian wax leaves a triangular patch of hair in the pubic area, the Brazilian wax removes all of the hair. The American wax removes only the hair that is exposed when wearing a swimsuit. The French wax, also known as a partial Brazilian wax, removes all but a thin, vertical strip of hair, also known as a "landing strip."
