In 2015, variations of the classic pixie haircut are a big trend. Celebrities such as Anne Hathaway have worn the classic cut, while Miley Cyrus has sported a choppy version with a slightly messy flair.
Other short hair trends, such as the bob and shag haircuts, are popular as of 2015. Jennifer Lawrence recently wore a stacked bob with layered pieces and a deep side part in front. Coco Rocha has appeared on the red carpet with a classic bob that falls to the nape of her neck, with bluntly cut fringe bangs. Elizabeth Moss recently updated her bob by making the ends a little choppier and cutting it to her chin. Several celebrities have cut their long hair into a shag style, such as Kim Kardashian and the model Karlie Kloss.
Boycuts and fades are also popular. Jennifer Hudson's fade, though edgy, retains its feminine appearance due to the texture of the longer hair on top. Addison Timlin has a boycut that is short in the back and long enough on top to tuck behind her ears. Shailene Woodley has grown out her short cut and is styling it in a long, slicked-back boycut reaching almost to her chin.
