How Do You Get Rid of Dark Spots on Your Armpits?


Get rid of dark spots on your armpits by applying a mixture of plain yogurt, lemon juice and honey. This 15-minute procedure requires a bowl, a spoon, plain Greek yogurt, a lemon, a knife, honey, a washcloth, a towel, deodorant, moisturizing lotion and warm water.

  1. Cut and juice the lemon

    Roll the lemon on a flat surface while pressing down on it with your palm. Cut the lemon in half, and squeeze it into a bowl. If the seeds fall in, scoop them out. Discard the lemon halves.

  2. Add yogurt and honey

    Add a tablespoon of honey to the bowl, and stir in enough plain Greek yogurt to make a thick paste. Blend the ingredients together until you have a homogeneous mixture.

  3. Apply the paste to your armpits

    Apply the paste to your clean, dry armpits. Leave it on your skin for 10 minutes.

  4. Rinse and moisturize your skin

    Moisten a washcloth with warm water, and wipe the whitening mixture off your skin. Pat your armpits dry with a soft towel, and apply a thin layer of moisturizing lotion. Massage the lotion into your skin with your fingertips until it is fully absorbed.

  5. Apply deodorant

    Pat your armpits with a towel to remove the last traces of moisturizer, then apply your deodorant. Repeat this lightening treatment daily until the dark pigmentation is gone.
