To get rid of blackheads on your nose, make a paste of ground nutmeg and milk, spread it on your nose, rub it in, rinse with warm water, and apply witch hazel to the clean pores. This 10-minute procedure requires a bowl, a spoon, milk, nutmeg, water, cotton pads and witch hazel.
- Mix the nutmeg paste
Pour a tablespoon of ground nutmeg into a small bowl. Add a splash of milk, and stir the mixture with a spoon until you have a thick paste.
- Scrub the blackheads
Apply the paste over the blackheads, and rub it in with your fingers. Spend about five minutes scrubbing the pores with tiny circular motions. Add more paste if the skin begins to dry out.
- Rinse the skin
Rinse the skin with warm water.
- Tone the skin with witch hazel
Saturate a cotton pad with witch hazel, and wipe it over your nose with firm, downward strokes. Pay special attention to the creases on the sides of your nose because dead skin cells, oil and cosmetic residue often collect there. Examine the cotton pad after you apply the toner. If it is gray and grimy, apply more witch hazel to a fresh pad, and wipe the skin again.
