Remove a spray tan through the application of emollients, like mineral oil, and exfoliation in a hot shower. The mineral oil should soak into the skin for 15 minutes before washing it off with an exfoliating scrub in the shower.
There are a few different methods for removing the spray tan. Most of them involve exfoliating the skin to remove the tanned surface cells, but a couple involve lightening the skin too. A scrub made from lemon juice and sugar is used to both exfoliate and lighten the tan to remove it. Another scrub made from baby oil and baking soda can help exfoliate and loosen top layers of skin cells. Hydrogen peroxide is also applied to a tan and allowed to sit for a few minutes to help fade it. Excess peroxide is patted off with a clean towel afterwards.
