To remove dead skin from your face, identify dry areas of skin, exfoliate with a scrub twice a week and moisturize thoroughly. Moisturizing skin regularly also prevents irritation.
- Examine your skin
Examine any areas that are excessively dry by looking at your face in a mirror while outside. This makes it easier to see which areas contain the most dead skin.
- Exfoliate with a scrub
Gently exfoliate the dry areas twice a week with a scrub that contains beads or other mildly abrasive ingredients to remove dead skin and reveal the soft skin beneath. Rinse the exfoliating scrub off your face with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
- Apply a moisturizer
Apply a hydrating cream to your entire face to moisturize and smooth your skin.
