To make a blackhead-removing mask out of gelatin and milk, mix 1 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin with 1 1/2 teaspoons of milk. Microwave the mixture until it is warm, and spread it on your face. Leave it until it dries, and then peel it off carefully to remove blackheads.
- Make the gelatin mixture
Buy unflavored gelatin and any type of milk. Measure 1 teaspoon of the gelatin into a shallow, microwave-safe dish. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of milk. Mix the two ingredients thoroughly until you get a smooth paste.
- Heat the mask
Put the dish into a microwave and heat it up for approximately 10 to 15 seconds. The mixture should be warm to the touch but not so hot that it burns your skin.
- Apply the mask
While the mask mixture is still warm, use your fingers to apply it to your face. Create an even coat, avoiding the delicate skin around your eyes. Ensure total coverage for blackhead-prone areas such as the nose, forehead and chin. Allow the mask to dry completely.
- Peel the mask
Use your fingers to peel the mask away from your skin, starting from the edges and working inward. Try to peel in a long, smooth motion. The mask pulls blackheads from your pores as you pull.
