Visit a department store and pick up a small wooden nail stick (it should have a pointy end), acetone-free nail polish remover and a nail buffer. You also need a small bowl and a couple of towels.
Pour a small amount of acetone-free nail polish remover in the small bowl and set it on the towel. Soak nail tips in the bowl until the acrylic nails begin to feel like a gel.
Use the wooden nail stick to gently scrape off the nail. Soak the hand you are using to scrape for a few more minutes if it dries so that you can do the same to that hand. Repeat the soaking and scraping instructions if there are portions of the nails that are especially stubborn.
Use the nail buffer to buff off any residual acrylic specs remaining on the nail.
When all of the acrylic nails are gone, wash and dry hands completely, then moisturize them.
