Rejuvi tattoo removal is a unique tattoo removal system that does not require the use of lasers or surgery. The treatment uses a chemical extraction mechanism to soften the tattoo pigments underneath the skin and gradually bring them to the surface of the skin.
Rejuvi is not color selective, which means it can remove any color tattoo ink, unlike laser treatments, which sometimes leave behind traces of color from the tattoo. The treatment is also much less expensive than traditional tattoo removal treatments and leaves less scarring. In the United States, Rejuvi can only be purchased by those with an esthetician license and a micropigmentation training certificate, tattooing business license or medical license. The use of the system requires tattooing or permanent makeup experience because it uses a tattoo-over procedure.
The length of time that a treatment takes depends on the location of the tattoo. If the treatment is used properly, it can remove permanent makeup tattoos in as little as one treatment, while body tattoos usually require two to six treatments to be effective. The treatment is not recommended for tattoos that are near delicate eye areas. Rejuvi users experience redness after the treatment, but it gradually diminishes, leaving the skin looking completely normal.
