One recipe for homemade wrinkle cream is Jenni Raincloud's anti-aging eye cream made with seed oils, essential oils and vitamin E. This recipe also uses carrot seed essential oil as its main ingredient due to the large amount of antioxidants, vitamins C and K.
Jenni Raincloud's anti-aging wrinkle cream calls for 1 tablespoon of Meadowfoam seed oil, 2 teaspoons unrefined, organic coconut oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons beeswax, 1/2 teaspoon shea butter and 1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil. The recipe also uses 4 drops of carrot seed essential oil, 5 drops of Frankincense essential oil and 8 drops of Lavender essential oil.
Place the Meadowfoam oil, coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter and vitamin E oil in a glass bowl, and then place the bowl in a pot of water. Heat the water to medium without letting it boil. Once the ingredients melt, remove the mixture from the heat source, and add the essential oils, mixing well.
This recipe makes 1 ounce of wrinkle cream for use around the eyes. Users should be careful to avoid getting the cream in the eyes, and Raincloud recommends using the cream nightly before bed for the best results. The cream has an estimated shelf life of six months.
