To apply liquid eyeliner, start in the middle of your upper eyelid, and make dash lines along the lash line. Fill in the dash lines, and use liquid makeup remover to correct mistakes.
- Start in the middle of your eyelid
Dab the tip of the eyeliner brush on a piece of tissue paper to remove excess liquid. Start in the middle of your upper eyelid, and trace dashes along the lash line. For easier eyeliner application, use the fingers of your other hand to stretch your upper eyelid and make a smooth surface.
- Fill in the dash lines to create a solid line
Without adding more liquid eyeliner to the brush, go back and fill in the dash lines to make a solid line. Repeat this process on the bottom eyelid if desired.
- Use makeup remover to fix any mistakes
Dip a Q-tip in liquid makeup remover, and carefully rub it on the eyelid to erase any mistakes.
