How Do You Properly Wash Your Hair?

To wash your hair, detangle it with a comb, wet it with warm water, apply shampoo, and rinse the hair with warm water. Then condition the hair and rinse again with warm water before rinsing with cold water. Dry the hair with a towel, apply detangler and comb the hair.

  1. Prepare your hair

Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles. Massage your scalp to loosen the dead skin and dirt, and rinse it with warm water.

  2. Apply shampoo and conditioner

Spread shampoo over your scalp with your hands, work the shampoo into lather, and scrub your hair for a minute. Don't use too much shampoo to avoid damaging your hair's oils. Rinse your hair with warm water to remove the shampoo residue. Avoid excessive rinsing to prevent loss of the hair's oil. Squeeze your hair to remove the excess water, apply conditioner and wrap your hair with a towel for a few minutes.

  3. Rinse and dry your hair

Rinse away the conditioner with warm water, and repeat with cold water to seal the pores and restore the hair's shine. Blot your hair with a clean towel, and wrap it with a towel to eliminate the water remnants. Lastly, spray your hair with a detangler, and comb the hair.
