To promote hair growth, use a protein-rich moisturizing mask made out of egg yolk, olive oil and vodka. Massage the mask into your scalp, cover it, and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing the mask out. Repeat the process weekly.
- Prepare the egg
Crack an egg, and separate out the yolk. Put the yolk in a small bowl.
- Mix the mask
Whisk the egg yolk to break it up. Add 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon of vodka to the egg yolk. Whisk until the mixture blends completely.
- Apply the mask
Scoop a small amount of the mask with your fingers, and work it into the roots of the hair. Continue scooping and working the mask in until all the roots are covered. Pull the rest of the mask through to the ends of your hair.
- Massage the scalp
Once the mask is applied, massage it into the scalp using the pads of your fingers. Continue the massage for at least five minutes to promote blood circulation.
- Process the mask
Cover your hair with a plastic cap. Wrap your head with a towel to keep the heat inside the cap. Let the mask process for 30 minutes.
- Remove the hair mask
Rinse the mask out in the shower. Wash and condition the hair with moisturizing products. Finish with a cold rinse to seal the mask's nutrients inside the hair fibers.
